Conference Attendee Information

AICP Registration Desk:   The AICP registration desk will be open from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 3 and will reopen on Sunday morning, October 4 at 8:00 am.  Stop by to pick up your conference badge as well as on-site materials, or if you have any conference related questions when you arrive.

Lodging Reminder: Click here for lodging information. As the resort is in a more remote area of Phoenix, it is recommended that you book your room earlier, rather than later.    The AICP room rate is only guaranteed through September 14.

Handouts: AICP is going green, so no handout material will be printed and available at Conference.  Once you have registered for conference, please make sure you download and print those materials (handouts and bios) applicable to your sessions and bring them to conference.  Instructions on how to download handouts is contained in the session enrollment module.

Got Questions? In an effort to make each session more meaningful to each of our attendees, once you have registered for conference you will be able to submit questions to the presenters before the meeting via the conference website. This is your chance to make sure the presenters are prepared to cover those issues which are important to you.  Easy on-screen instructions can be found on each session document.

Logo Wear Day: Sunday, October 4th, has been designated as our AICP logo wear day. Logo items will be on display for purchase at our logo shop table, or you may want to bring out logo wear you purchased during earlier years. Show your AICP spirit and don your AICP logo wear for our Logo Wear Day!   Click here to check out this year's new merchandise available for purchase now, or at the Conference.

Special Events Reminder:   First-Timer’s Meet and Greet will be Sunday from 4:45 to 6:00 pm; attend this interactive and energetic networking session to meet other attendees and learn your way around an AICP conference.  The Welcome Reception and Exhibitor Showcase will be held on Sunday, October 4 in the Exhibition Hall.  Complete your Compliance Puzzle within your attendee packet to be eligible for Door Prize drawings (must be present to win AICP door prizes).  This is a great opportunity to meet vendors, as well as bid on the wonderful items available at the AICP Silent Auction. The Silent Auction bidding ends at 10:30 Tuesday, after the morning break, so bid early and bid often! This year, the Silent Auction proceeds will be donated to the Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation.

Breakfast With Your Chapter: For those of you who would like to meet and get to know your fellow chapter members better, certain tables will be reserved at our Monday breakfast for chapter members to sit together. It is strictly voluntary, but it will be there for your choosing.

Salsa Themed Gala Event: We will officially kick-off the conference on Monday, October 5 from 6:30 to 10:00 pm with a “Salsa” themed gala event, complete with dancing to the band Dark Horse.  Join us for food, music and networking.  A “quiet area” will also be offered for those who prefer a less-noisy alternative.
