This Year's Charity
Camp John Marc
This year, AICP has selected Camp John Marc as the recipient of its annual charity drive.
Camp John Marc is a unique camping facility in Bosque County, Texas. The camp partners with community and health professionals to serve children with chronic illnesses and major physical disabilities, and the families of those children, by providing high-quality, year-round camping experiences. These experiences are motivated by the belief that every camper has the right to discovery and adventure in nature's world, and deserves a chance to see, touch, play, and feel better.
The 170-acre camp facility is located 85 miles southwest of Dallas. Camp John Marc primarily hosts children from the Dallas/Fort Worth area; however children from Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and the surrounding Texas region are also served. For more information about Camp John Marc, please go to www.campjohnmarc.org.
This year's charity drive will include a raffle for an I-Pad, and funds collected through the raffle, as well as other contributions, will be eligible for a matching donation program from the AICP. Please plan to participate in this effort.
