About Chapters
Chapters supplement the work of the national organization. These "grass roots" organizations make it possible for members who cannot attend the Annual Conference to take advantage of local networking and topical educational events.Association Chapter meetings are open to all members. These are usually held as either lunch or dinner meetings, which present topical lectures or workshops as well as networking opportunities with regional peers, regulators, and other professionals. The exchange of information at these meetings provides an ongoing base of knowledge and contacts. Each chapter establishes its own goals and meeting criteria, based on standards set by the National Board, to meet the particular challenges of its local membership and regulatory climate.
A portion of member national dues is allocated to each Regional chapter. Current Association chapters are:
