There are eleven committees at the national level. They are:The men and women serving on these committees are the heart of our association. Their efforts provide the basis for AICPs success in educating and retaining members.

A brief description of each committee's responsibilities
- Bylaws Review and recommend changes to the Bylaws.
- Chapter Relations Liaison among the Chapters to provide a formal way to give and receive feedback to and from the Board and among the chapters.
- Conference Planning Coordinate the planning and implementation of the Annual Conference.
- Education Develop and manage the curriculum, and establishes standards for the AICP certification programs.
- Finance Assist the Board in reviewing the overall financial status of the Association. Develops and recommends fiscal year budget to the Board. Monitors finances on a regular basis and make recommendations to the Board with regard to investments and reserves.
- Government and Industry Relations Committed to increasing regulator awareness of and involvement in the AICP. Establish and enhance relationships with the regulatory community and industry groups.
- Marketing Responsible for the marketing efforts of the AICP.
- Membership Solicit and provide information to prospective association members.
- Nominating Responsible for the national election process, including interviewing candidates, recommending a slate of candidates for open national positions, monitoring the election and reporting the results to the board.
- Publications Produce the quarterly newsletter.
- Website Manage website content and updates when needed.
