There are fourteen Committees and Task Forces at the National level. They are:

The men and women serving on these committees are the heart of the Association. Their efforts provide the basis for AICPs success in educating and retaining members.
Responsibilities for each of Committee can be categorized as follows:
- Bylaws Reviews and recommends changes to the Bylaws.
- Chapter Relations Liaison among the Chapters to provide a formal way to give and receive feedback to and from the Board and among the chapters.
- Community Marketing Identifies opportunities to promote awareness about our Association and works with other professional organizations in the insurance industry to enhance relationships.
- Conference Planning Coordinates the planning and implementation of the Annual Conference.
- Education Develops and manages the curriculum and establishes standards for the AICP Certification programs.
- Finance Assists the Board in reviewing the overall financial status of the Association. Develops and recommends the fiscal year to the Board of Directors. Monitors finances on a regular basis to make certain that income and expense items are in line with the budget adopted by the Board of Directors. Makes recommendations to the Board of Directors with regard to investment and our reserve fund.
- Government and Industry Relations Fosters ideas and suggestions on building relations among regulators and other industry groups.
- Membership Solicits and provides information to prospective Association members.
- Nominating Develops a slate of candidates for national office.
- Past President's Council This committee is chaired by the national immediate Past President and is made up of several Past President's. The council's purpose is to serve as a resource for the sitting President, Executive Committee, and/or Board of Directors should the need arise. The Past President's Council does not have any specific annual responsibilities.
- Public Relations Explores internal and external communication channels in which to market the value of AICP, in order to enhance the image and increase the recognition of AICP within the industry.
- Publications Provides content for the quarterly newsletter.
- Technology Develop and distribute a users guide for communication technology to chapter officers and Regional Directors. Explore on-line
testing capabilities.
- Website Manages the information available to members and non-members via our website. Monitors the site's content and posts changes as appropriate.
