What are the Annual Conference Dates?
The Conference dates are October 1 – 4, 2017.

What is the nearest airport to the Conference location?
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is just 20 minutes away.

The hotel is located in downtown Seattle.

What is the dress code for Conference?
The dress code is business casual for all Conference events. Sunday is a special day — Company Pride Day! Make sure to wear apparel which has your company logo and show your PRIDE!

What do the badge colors mean?
Your Conference badge is your "entry" into all Conference functions, sessions, and activities.

To find others involved in Life & Health issues, look for blue badges. For fellow Property & Casualty compliance professionals, seek out yellow badges. For those who cover it all, look for green badges.

All AICP Board Members, Chapter Officers and National Committee Chairs will be sporting a red "Ask Me" ribbon. If you have any questions, look for the red ribbon! Wear your Conference badge and bring your business card so you can network effectively.

What is going on Sunday night?
Registered attendees and registered guests are invited to join us Sunday evening from 5:30-7:00 pm in the Business Partner Showcase. Afterwards, feel free to explore the city! There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance of the hotel.

What is the Business Partner Showcase?
The Business Partner Showcase provides you an opportunity to meet and network with third-party product and service providers who have developed numerous solutions to our insurance compliance challenges. Spend some time with our "Business Partners" during the Business Partner Showcase, and there will be some additional fun in store, too!

What is the "Celebrate Seattle!" event?
On Monday night, we will start the evening off with our business partners from 4:30-6:30. Spend time with the networking with our Business Partners while enjoying cocktails and hors d’ouevres, and trying your luck at winning some fantastic door prizes.

Back by popular demand, we will be bringing back the photobooth again this year. Props will be available to allow you and your friends to dress up. Each person in the photo will receive a 4x6 print, and you'll be able to upload your pictures to social media.

After the Gala, AICP will help you get out to explore the city! From 6:30 to 10:30, we will begin running trolleys to locations of interest throughout the city. Visit the Space Needle, the Waterfront or one of the other vibrant neighborhoods that Seattle has to offer.

May I bring a Guest?
Registered Guests may attend all of our Conference events, meals, and receptions. Just make sure you register your guest during your registration for Conference. We'd like to meet your wonderful guests and hope they will take advantage of the many activities and scrumptious meals we have planned for Conference.

Will there be special Chapter Events?
Each Chapter decides whether or not it will hold a special Chapter Event. Attendance at Chapter Events is not included as part of the Conference registration fee or guest registration fee. Each Chapter will determine if any fees will be required from attendees of the Chapter Event. Be sure to check out the Chapter Events page for information on what your Chapter has planned.

Where can I find the Seminar handouts?
Seminar handouts are available to registered Conference attendees. Most of the seminar speakers and presenters will provide handouts for their various sessions. As in prior years, once you have registered and you're in the Registration module of the Conference Website, you may click on the "download session handouts" link under the User Dashboard and follow the on-screen instructions to download the handouts. However, this year, you'll also be able to view the handouts and take notes in our new mobile conference app. And the handouts on the app will be available for many months after Conference.

Please note that seminar handouts are provided as the various seminars are finalized and tweaked to ensure you receive the most current, up-to-date information. Please check back often if you don't find a handout for any sessions you've enrolled in when you first register, and for updates to handouts.

Where can I find the Attendee List and Speaker Biographies?
The Conference Attendee List and Speaker Biographies are available to registered Conference attendees. Most of the session speakers and presenters will have provided the AICP with their bio. Once you have registered and you're in the Registration module, you will find links to these items. You'll also be able to access the Attendee List and Speaker Biographies on our new mobile conference app.

The Attendee List and Speaker Biographies are updated as registration progresses and speakers provide us with their bios. Please check back often for the most current information.

What if I don't know anyone? Will I have the opportunity to meet others?
The short answer is yes! One of the many benefits of Conference is the opportunity to meet and network with other compliance professionals. Opportunities have been planned into Conference for you to meet others involved in the same compliance areas you're involved in, e.g., informal opportunities during our receptions, Chapter events, meals, and various activities.

We love all of our attendees, and we have a special affection for our first-timers. If you are a first time Conference attendee, be sure to attend our First-timers Session on Sunday. This session will be chock full of hints and ideas for making the most out of Conference, including how to take advantage of the many networking opportunities afforded you at Conference.

I am currently between jobs. Is there a way to make contacts for possible employment opportunities?
Yes! A bulletin board will be in the Registration area where employers can post career opportunities and candidates can post resumes.
