Continuing Education Credits
Do you need continuing education credits to maintain your designation? Your attendance at the AICP Annual Conference can earn you credit hours.
The Institutes (formerly AICPCU), now offers a self-reporting honor system through the Institutes' CE for CPCUs Program, which no longer requires a signed certificate of attendance. You can report one (1) credit for each session attended at the AICP Annual Conference. For example, if you attended all the applicable sessions, you could report up to 12 credit hours.
Other organizations may offer Continuing Education Credits (CLE) for attendance at the AICP Annual Conference, such as:
- American College — 15 CE credits
- IRES — 12 CE credits
CLE is also available for Attorneys. These credits are awarded on a state-by-state basis, and are determined based on paperwork submitted by you.
We were fortunate enough to secure 17.5 CLE hours from our host state of Washington for the 2018 conference. Hopefully, the State of Tennessee will be comparable. Please stay tuned for an update as Annual Conference gets closer.
To find out more about credit hours, please stop by the Education Committee table at the Annual Conference. The certificate of attendance for American College and IRES will be available to pick up during the following times.
