The Gaylord Opryland is a LARGE complex. While the Opry Mills mall is across the street from the Gaylord, any destination outside these facilities will need transportation. We have learned that the hotel runs a shuttle to the Opry Mills mall every 15 minutes. In addition, the mall has a public bus stop where you can catch a city bus into downtown (Plan on a 40 minute ride). An all day pass is $3.25; a single one-way ticket is $1.70.
Getting to the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center Hotel:
The hotel is located at 2800 Opryland Drive, Nashville, Tennessee. It is just outside of downtown, with easy rental car, taxi, and shuttle service accessibility.
Hotel on-site parking is $29 per day; valet parking $38 per day. Electric car charging stations are complimentary (four stations).
The Nashville International Airport (BNA) is 8 miles from the Gaylord. The airport shuttle service (one-way and must be scheduled) is $19. Call 615.883.2211.
Driving directions: Travel south on Terminal Drive toward BNA Arriving Flights. After 0.7 mile make a slight right followed by a slight left to stay on Terminal Drive. Travel 0.6 mile and take the ramp onto Interstate 40 West. Travel 1.2 miles to exit 215B and merge onto TN-155 North/Briley Parkway. Travel 4.3 miles to exit 11 for Opry Mills Drive. Continue straight ahead for 0.9 mile to Opryland Drive and turn right. Travel 0.4 mile and turn left to the hotel.
Taxi services are readily available at Nashville International Airport and one-way fares are set at a flat rate of $25.
Getting around Nashville
Nashville is spread out on both sides of the Cumberland River. A car can be useful if you are not sticking to downtown.
Getting around downtown Nashville is easy, especially with all of the great transportation options that are available. Take the Music City Circuit bus from the downtown core to The Gulch or the Farmers' Market or travel to stops throughout the downtown core! This is a free service, but the two routes only run Monday through Saturday.
Nashville MTA's main bus station, Music City Central, is located downtown and buses and taxis are available everywhere you look. Try public transportation alternative Nashville B-cycle and do away with traffic jams, exhaust emissions or parking fees.
