Mid Atlantic Chapter News Release
Sixteen regulators and more than 100 industry representatives gathered at the Wyndham Hotel in Philadelphia for the annual Mid-Atlantic Chapter E-Day.

Our day began with a fantastic keynote speech by Pennsylvania executive deputy insurance commissioner Seth Mendelsohn. This was followed by an interesting View From the Top panel with insurance commissioner Trinidad Navarro of Delaware, commissioner Al Redmer Jr. of Maryland, director Peter Hartt of New Jersey and Mendelsohn. Moderator Nancy Stepanski of Westmont Associates kept the session interesting and covered many relevant topics of the day. The commissioners kept it lively debating policy differences about Big Data and cybersecurity requirements, long-term care insurance, the Affordable Care Act and more.

Eight additional sessions were offered throughout the day, including a regulator roundtable with more than 10 regulators participating.

Overall, the day was a great success by promoting new relationships, exchanging information and providing learning opportunities to all in attendance.
